The date of birth was just a suggestion. You could buy the birth certificate as that would give the names of both of her parents?

May be someone else can find her or her family. Ancestry is playing up as it often does at this time of night. Might her father have been a soldier and the family travelled with him abroad or to Ireland??

Oh OK, Obviously that is the case, Unless she can be found in the 1851 census I will not be able to proceed further down the Wingfield line. Thanks Detective

Her birth reg from the new search on GRO gives her mothers maiden name

WINGFIELD, LUCY SOPHIA (mmn) JACKSON
GRO Reference: 1841 J Quarter in SAINT JAMES WESTMINSTER Volume 01 Page 102

Do you have her parents names?

Is this her birth?

Births Jun 1841 (>99%)
Wingfield Lucy Sophia St Jas West 1 102

In case helpers aren't aware of the Registration district, its St James Westminster and it is in the county of Middlesex;

As for not finding her on the 1841 census, its possible that she wasn't born until after the census date of June 6

Help please in trying to find Lucy Sophia Wingfield in the census records 1841 and 1851 all I can find is her birth and her marriage. Many thanks
