Thank you PrcklyHolly

I though it might say that. This was a second marriage for her. although she had children from her first marriage it appears she didn't have any from the second marriage.

thanks for your help

Thank you Andy

William knight was from her first marriage.

I have a possible son called William Gray b1861 -died 1869. This was from Johns' first marriage. John being her husbands name.

John Grays first marriage was to Hannah Walker. It was a long shot but I was just trying to prove that William was John and Hannah's son. I was hoping that Dinah would acknowledge William on the 1911 census as a dead child.

Well there was no harm in trying.

Thanks again

??

There is also this earlier death.....

Deaths Sep 1862 (>99%)

Hi PricklyHolly

Sorry I didn't get back to yesterday. I was a bit sore after that hospital visit. Thankfully everything is ok.

Thank you so much for all that information you gave me on William. I can now confidently add him to my tree. I think I will send for his death cert to see what he died of.

All the best

Ages for those two deaths:

Results:
Name: Age at Death (in years):

GRAY, WILLIAM 66 Order
GRO Reference: 1862 S Quarter in GLANFORD BRIGG Volume 07A Page 331

GRAY, WILLIAM 3 Order
GRO Reference: 1865 M Quarter in GLANFORD BRIGG Volume 07A Page 474

So, it looks like the 1865 one is more likely.

Thanks Dea

So it looks like I meed to go for the death in 1865 in Glanford Brigg. If I give the registry enough information they are usually pretty good and will phone me if it is wrong. Then I will have to go for that death in Thorne.

all the best
