Yes Brooklyn was what I was looking for, think it is in the village of Hoveringham but looks like they don't give that info.

I believe you are correct Creeky - a few households away is 'Hoveringham Hall' and on the previous page is the 'Marquis of Granby' Public House which was also in Hoveringham.

Looking at the original page, after other entries there is Hoveringham Hall listed and then Hall Cottage, Hall Farm, West View, Brooklyn and then East and West Lea. Previous page has The Marquis of Granby Pub (there was one in Hoveringham on Main Street, now a private home). Google shows Hoveringham Hall to be on Main Street too.

Thanks to you all.

Sure we are all correct as it would seem they may have bought the residence in 1912 when it was for sale (re Nottm Post). Anyway it is the place where both the Dobbs died.
Problem solved, you always come up trumps :-D
