Hello, On FMP John Stone marries Mary Turner on 29 December 1823 at Throapham, Yorkshire (West Riding) and there is also an entry on FMP at Laughton En Le Morthen, Yorkshire (West Riding) for the same date. Could someone please check the entries to see if they differ in any way and if it mentions who is from where.
On the census returns John is born approx 1802 birth place Wombwell, Yorkshire and Mary is borm approx 1792 birth place Gildingwells, Yorkshire. Thank you.

Such early records carry very little info other than the names of the couple, and the witnesses (James Turner and Elizabeth Antcliff)

John Stone was 'of Darfield' - a Cordwainer
Bride was of this Parish, i.e. Laughton
BUT.....that refers to residences, NOT birthplaces
