I'm looking for details of the deaths of Donovan RJ Auld born 1916 in Kent
Mmn Allchin.

He married Hilda M Brown in 1940

Since the marriage, I cannot trace a death for either of these people.

Im sure they must be somewhere?

Any help please would be appreciated

Sorry, forget Donovan, as I have just realised, he was in the war and died in 1941. Queens Ryl regiment, west surrey.

However, I know that Hilda did not remarry and lived with her inlaws up to mid 1970's so not sure why i cant see her death?

Thanks ladies for the info but why doesn't her death show in the death records?

Very interesting 2012? Thought she died in the mid 80's.

They didn't have any children I'm sure so wonder who her estate was left to?

Yes, I realise now that 2012 is perhaps too recent but I had in my mind she died back in the mid 70's as I always remember going to visit her inlaws and she lived with them ,on xmas eve. I got given a small, sweet sherry even though I was only about 14/15.

Funny when you are that age and you think these rellies are ancient, but she would only have been around 60!

Noone in the family has mentioned her for years, so it surprises me it was only 2012!

Edit: When I try and search the GRO, I just never seem to have much luck!
