I am wondering if anyone has links to
Dorrells from Wendover who arrived in Belvedere, Kent in the 1860s;
Tolladys from Bury St Edmunds;
Pages from Leeds in Kent:
Phillips from Sutton at Hone or Erith, Kent;
Warners of Crayford, Kent;
Dempseys from Cork who came to Erith, Kent in 1850s and may have gone to Ireland or USA later;
Crisps from Downham Market, Norfolk;
Dunham from Fakenham, Norfolk or Whissonsett, Norfolk.
However tenuous your connection, it would be good to make contact and share information.

That’s a lot of names. Have you looked at Search/ all members trees to see if anyone had them in their trees?

Start by looking in 'search all member trees'
Unless anyone has the names in GR trees, they aren't likely to be members and won't see your post
How much detailed research have you carried out yourself?
Is your tree on here for other people to look for names and thus try to contact you?

A quick look shows that at least two people other than you have the Tollady family from Bury St Edmunds in GR trees
Try to contact them as a starting point
Crisp, born Downham Market..............many names in a number of trees, although not showing as being in yours on here
Dorrells born Wendover - several members have them in GR trees

I think we may have been in touch before,. My great grandmother was Annie Martha Tollady born Bury St Edmunds 1865. Some of them went off to Walthamstow. Someone on here is descended from Horace, I think, but has not given me any more info. or access to his tree. Also there is someone who does not know much at all so I couldn't link him in. i have lots of Tolladys, but maybe you already have access to my tree?

Thank you for your responses. I do have a large and detailed tree but I hoped to contact people who may be willing to share more information than is on public sites. I have sent quite a few messages but have only had replies from a couple of relatives with whom I already have contact therefore I decided to post here. I have the above information but thank you for replying anyway.

If people with the names in trees haven’t replied to your attempts at contact, posting on here is unlikely to elicit any response, unfortunately. Hardly any of the members look at these boards
It is better to ask a specific question, rather than to generalise. Someone may have a snippet of info which you don’t
If someone at some stage googles the names, you may get some feedback.

Are you using other sites, like Ancestry, to make contacts or are you just using Genes?
Have you looked at the various family history societies. They often have lists of members researching family names. Although you may need to be a member to access that.
Sometimes just googling the name and place eg Crisp family of Downham market, can lead you to other researchers.

Thank you, yes I have had a few contacts on ancestry in the past. Years ago I had a few on here too as I have been researching for nearly 30 years. I have joined several fhs over time. I just thought I would try this site again. Thank you for your suggestions.
