Member Since: May 2005 Posts: 10 Send Message	Looking for family in Scotland, My Great gtreat grandfather William Kerr married Elizabeth Carter 9th Dec 1826 Avondal Lanark. Elizabeths father was Alexander Carter and her mother was Janet Petigrew. My great grandfather Alexander was born in Strathhaven 11th July 1834, we know he had a brother James and a sister Isabella,as he bought out to Australia in1850 with him our family bible and in it was written To my dearest brother Alexander from your loving sister Isabella. We know that William Kerr is buried In Strathaven.Any family out there
