My mother was Blanch Emma Maud Howels Prothero from Hay on Wye. Her date of birth was 4th November 1924. She had a half sister Evelyn Thomson who died (1942) aged 32 from TB. she left 1 son David who was 12 months old, his father moved to Ipswitch after she died and all contact was lost. Their mother was Jenny Williams also fron Hay. My mothers father was Edward Howels she was his only child and he was a farmer/land owner in Hay. He owned the house that my mother was born in. Mum never spoke about her family and we have met only a couple of cousins many years ago when we were to young to ask questions. When my mum was aged 9 she moved to Coventry and married my father Arthur Moore. If any one can help me I would be so grateful. thank you
