I am trying to find any details of an uncle who I new as Uncle Eric. One of three brothers, Eric Carver, George and Cecil. I think they would all have been born in Southport, Lancashire. My father was Cecil Carver. We lived in Birkdale Road, Southport. I have only distant memories of Uncle Eric, I remember he was on the Normandy landing during the 2nd World War. He lived at Upper Aughton Road in Sothport, he wife's name was Edith and they had a daughter named Barbara. All are now gone, but any information would be welcome. |
