I'm trying to find out information about the Leigh family from Ashton upon Mersey, Cheshire. My great grandfather was named John Leigh born around 1862 and married Margaret Darbyshire. Thanks

Hello, my paternal Grandfather was George Leigh born 1889 but I do not know of his parentage, or where he was born, only that he married Lillian and had 7 children one of whom was my father James. They lived in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs

Janet, you're replying to a thread that is nearly 6 years old and Joanne doesn't appear to be a regular user of the boards (only 3 posts to her name) so doubt she'll see your reply.

You could try clicking on her name to send a direct message. She'll be notified of this if she's still an active member with up to date account details.
