I am looking for Haywards from Wellington, Shropshire. My Gt.grandfather was Herbert Hayward born around 1872 and married Mary Taylor (Tayler). They had at least 11 children: Lucy Kate b 1894 Agnes Annie b 1896 (known as Cissie) Thomas Charles b 1898 Eunice Sarah b 1900 Mary Elizabeth b 1902 (known as Bessie) Ellen Ena Berta b 1904 (known as Nellie) Alicia Mona b 1906 Emma b 1908 Edna & Noelle b 1910 Winifred Kathleen b 1913 I know nothing of the Hayward family other than this - perhaps you may have someone in your tree that matches. |

Herbert Hayward born around 1872 appears on the 1901 census with wife Mary and children Agnes,Thomas and Eunice. All living in Church Stretton. Herbert and the children are recorded as being born in Church Stretton and Mary born in Hadley. Herbert also appears on the 1891 census in Church Stretton with his mother Sarah ,brother George and sister Elizabeth. I hope this is of some help to you. I have Haywards in my family but no link apparent yet. Regards Allan Tisdale |
