I am trying to trace my grandfathers family. He was Walter Johnson, born around 1870 in Northampton. He married my grandmother,no idea when, Ann Emma Carr who was born on Jan 18th 1874.She was born in Tower ??Street Northampton. The only other thing I know about him is that he was a ''clicker'' in the boot and shoe trade. They moved to Barwell in Leicestershire early 1900's.I would dearly love to know if he had any siblings and the names of his parents. All the family birth certificates etc were destroyed when my uncle died so I have no starting point. If I was in the UK I suppose I could check Church records .Hope someone out there can help.Thanks.
