Trying to find Goddard

I have been searching the census records for a friend and need details from the 1861 return on the family Goddard (Joshua/Mary 1811, Charlotte 1829, Esther 1834 and Thomas 1840) The family lived for generations in Aston Under Lyne, Lancashire but are not on this census. I am therefore wondering if they were at a different loction during this period. All the births were in Aston Any information on this and anything other related to this family or the next generation (Thomas/Mary 1840, Edith 1872, Dinah 1874, Sarah 1877, Joshua 1865, Daniel 1867) or the next (DanielDaniel 1868, Hannah 1871, Alice 1898, Sarah 1900/01 would be appreciated
