Walter's parents were Richard Manwaring (1794-1837) who was born at Sevenoaks and probably died in Otford, and Sophia Couchman who was born in Otford about 1795 and died there in 1882.
Richard and Sophia were married 12 Dec 1819 at St Mary's Church, Lewisham. I don't know any more about Richard, but Sophia was the daughter of Thomas Couchman (1759-1828) who was born in Chevening and died at Otford, and Fanny Barber (1745-1841), born Eynsford, died Otford. They were my 3x gt grandparents.
There is quite a bit about the Couchman family available, hope this gets you going

I am trying to find information on Edith Agnes Manwaring, born 1874 in Otford, Kent. Her parents were Walter Manwaring and Eliza Ingram. She died a couple of years after giving birth to my grandfather Arnold Victor Manwaring Glover. I have some info on the Ingram side but I can't get passed Walter's parents which were Richard Manwaring and Sophia. If anyone has any information it would be very much appreciated.
