Member Since: May 2005 Posts: 10 Send Message	Trying to get more information on my great great grandparents, william Kerr married Elizabeth Carter 9 Dec 1826 Avondale Lanarkshire Scotland. They had a son James and a son Alexander born 1834,they lived in Strathaven Scotland at this time, I know Alexander my great grandfather had a sister Isabella as she gave him a family bible to bring out to Australia when he came in 1850. Elizabeths father was Alexander Carter and her mother was Janet Carter nee pettigrew.
