Find Ancestors

Hi, I am trying to find out about my Great(x5) grandfather and his wife, William Fairfield and Jane Toley. The were both born about 1766 and 1767, and I believe they were born in Bradfield. I would be grateful for any help. Sarah

This post is a long time ago, but I am trying to determine if Wiliam and Jane are my relations as lots of people believe they are the parents of my relation Frederick Joseph Fairfield (b1809 in Hull), but no-one seems to have any evidence to support this. Have you anything on this?

Sarah has ZERO posts to her name.....so she's long gone from GR.

Also, she didn't state which Bradfield she meant...there are at least five in England

I have Frederick's death certificate and all the census information which confirms his age and that he was born in Hull. There is no record of his birth in the Hull parish records. William Fairfield and Jane Toley had the children listed by Ann in her posting in Bradfield near Sheffield.

It could be Frederick was mistakenly listed as being born in Hull in the census but I can't find a connection to William and Jane.
