Trying to find Gunn

Thomas Howard Gunn - circa 1886 I'm trying to find any relations connected to the above. My father Malcolm Arthur Gunn was born to Thomas Howard Gunn on 20/02/1924. All I know is that Thomas Howard Gunn was one of 13 children and that one of his brothers was called Victor. I think three of the sons died in the 1914-1918 war. Thomas Howard Gunn's father had a chain of ironmongers in London and I think they lived somewhere in the Clacton area which would have been about 1906 onwards. If you can help, please contact me as I would love to hear from you. Thanks!

Hello Vanessa (my wife is Vanessa!)
Thomas Howard Gunn married my wife's great aunt Margaret Harris Rendall in 1904. They divorced in 1916 and he then married Dorothy Hilda May Hazell. I see he was recorded on the marriage certificate as an Ironmonger. He was born in Clapton (east London ), not Clacton Essex and was one of 12.
Do contact me for more info.

Welcome to the boards Ian - I hope you have an enjoyable and constructive time using them.
A couple of pointers though! Firstly you MUST remove your email address - it's against Genes T & C's - for your protection, as the site isn't a secure one.
Also, this is a very old posting - date is 2005, and Vanessa never posted anything else. She will not see your reply. You can send messages by clicking on poster's name, and if Genes have the current address they will be notified. A bit of a long shot in this case though.
You can also look for other matches by using 'search all trees' in search box above.
