GRAY/LAWRENCE/BARLOW I am researching the Gray family and trying to trace a cousin of mine. His maternal grandmother and my maternal grandmother were sisters. His grandmother was Mary [called Polly]born 1865, born Dudley, Staffs. She married a lGeorge [called Bill] Lawrence in 1883 in Nottingham and moved to Derbyshire according to the 1891 and 1901 census. Sometime [date to be researched] the family moved to Warrington, Lancs. She had several children, one being Gladys BARLOW who was the mother of my cousin, Bob. My grandmother, Florence Parnham [nee Gray] and I visited Warrington in 1946/47. In the 1950's Bob came to Nottingham to study at the University and visited my parents' home [Albert & Edna Leverton]. I was in a position to purchase study books for him at a discount and as a thank-you he built a bookcase for me. I should love to contact him to fill in the missing links of the Gray family.
