Hi, I am trying to find information on a Buckley family that lived in the Collyhurst area of Manchester (Dora street) from 1915-1940s. I have very little information about them, apart from the following names. Arthur Buckley DOB c1884 poss born Bradford/Manningham Yorkshire. He maried a Martha Hogg in Manchester in 1916, she died in 1936 aged 54, they had a daughter Emily Buckley born 3/2/1918, believed to have died in infancy. Arthur's second wife was Elizabeth Jones, maiden name Handley, DOB c1905, died in early 80s. Their son Arthur Buckley D.O.B 1944, Collyhurst Manchester. Their Daughter Clara Buckley D.O.B c1949, Collyhurst Manchester. It is known Elizabeth had at least 2 children from her Jones marriage before she became a Buckley, these were Mary Jones 1936, 8 Vega street Cheetham Manchester, and Josephine Jones 1941, 54 Buckley street, Collyhurst Manchester. Elizabeth also had poss step children who were named Patricia/Patty, Thomas and Jackie Jones, their father was a Thomas Pell Jones who died 1940-41.. If you recognise any of above, please get in touch.. Tracy
