Beman or Beeman Sophia Beman born 1852 in Bray but parents may have originated in Farnham Royal. Married William Mayers in 1872 in Cookham with children Annie, Matha, Emily, William J D, Louis Napolean (my grandfather), Philip, Mary, Victoria, Primrose and May. William and all three sons were house painters and sign writers and they had a shop in Bridge Street Maidenhead. Sophia's parents were possibly Frederick and Mary Beman. I would be grateful if anyone can contact me with information Profile
