Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 6 Send Message	Beman or Beeman Sophia Beman born 1852 in Bray but parents may have originated in Farnham Royal. Married William Mayers in 1872 in Cookham with children Annie, Matha, Emily, William J D, Louis Napolean (my grandfather), Philip, Mary, Victoria, Primrose and May. William and all three sons were house painters and sign writers and they had a shop in Bridge Street Maidenhead. Sophia's parents were possibly Frederick and Mary Beman.
