Trying to find ancestor

Peter Paul - Not everyone agrees, all the information in most family trees is already in the public domain. I could walk into the Family Records Centre and walk out with your birth and marriage certificate, that of your parents etc However others are still sensitive about the issue of privacy, so keeping trees private works well for this site because it enourages more people to participate. Hundreds of others have already chosen to put their full trees online for everyone to view and so Google can be a good place to search for your ancestors.
