My goodness what a lot of Thomas Lavericks there must be!! No that's not the one, the image I have is very faint but it says HO 107/822/1 - it has William 50, Barbara 50, Jane 30, Matthew 20, Thomas 6 and John 2. I thought Thomas might be a grandson but as I said I found that Thomas was born to William's first wife, Jane the year before she died. Joanna

Hi Sheila I think that is the other Thomas who is the son of William's son, William. There was only a year or so between them. The Thomas I am looking for was the son (I think) of William b1785ish and was 6 in the 1841. William and stepmum Barbara died in 1856 and 58 but I don't see Thomas with them in 1851. Sorry seems rather garbled! Update: I found Thomas's birth/bap details on GENuk Dec 1836 mother was Jane Young which was William's first wife They were both born in the 1780s. She died the following year and then William married Barbara in 1838. Joanna

Hi Sheila Wonder if you could look up a Thomas Laverick born c1836 in the 1851 and 61 census, please? I have him in the 41 living with William and Barbara Laverick who may be his grandparents, they are both in their 50s. There is also a Jane Laverick 30, a Matthew Laverick 20, Thomas and John - I know that John is their grandson. UPDATE; Think Thomas might be William's son (Barbara 2nd wife) as I found him on GENuk but would still be interested to know who he was with in the census. William's other son, William also had a Thomas a year or so later. Thanks Joanna
