How would I be able to find a birth in New York for 1913? The parents have been found on the 1910 census, but need mothers maiden name. Thanks Kim

Thanks Lorraine His name is Cecil Richard Sladen born 1913 in New York. I already have the 1910 census for his parents they went there in 1908 (according to passenger lists), but would really like to obtain a birth cert to assertain his mothers maiden name. Thanks for any help Kim

Rose It's possible he was back in the UK by then. His father Cecil Gordon Sladen, was in the Royal Artiliary (engineer) mother was Mabel Cecil Richard was def born in New york 1913 but never had a birth cert, he must have taken citizanship here, but surly he must have had to be registered in New York?
