If any one can help me find place of birth of my father. He left when I was a baby and all I know he was born 8th December 1923 or 1921. I need this to go further with my family tree. His name is GEORGE RODAL WASHINGTON BLACK. Mother had always told us he was born in Jamaica, but on searching there is no record of him there.

Is mum still around? What you need is your parents marriage certificate giving his fathers name. Hopefully this will help you find his dad before 1901. But gives us dads details (I take it he is now deceased?)
