Thanks Debra Thats her, did it say elizabeth was a widow? i do know she was in 1851. Debra is it possible you could look for a Thomas Pattison b abt 1781 Newburn Newcastle , Northumberland 1841 census have his wife in 1841 but he wasn't on that census with her, he was still alive as he on 1851 census with his wife, so maybe he was visting else where. HI. Are you willing to look at the 1841 and possibly 1851 wales census for me please. I'm looking for a Jane Grisdal or Grisdale born about 1771 (not sure where) but she would have probably been living in Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire at the time. I remember seeing her as part of the Fisher household in Kidwelly, when I had access to the censuses, but I didn't take note of the details. I would love to know exactly where she lived, with who and her marital status. Also it would help if I knew where she was born. Thanks for any help. Shirley
