Thanks for trying, but I reckon this isn't our Henry Arthur, he was born 14 Feb 1898 at 2 Beeston Road, Dunkirk U.D (whatever the UK stands for?). His birth was registered on the 5th April 1898. His parents were (we think) Alfred and Elizabeth Thorpe Watson (formerly Sargent). Alfred was from Leicester, but later moved to Basford, Nottingham Also, we can't work out how Elizabeth fits in with the family tree, she's got so many surnames!

Jane Should have mentioned they were living in Co Durham before emigrating...sorry... unfortunately not much else is known...they appear to have been definetly married and Elizabeth was probably born in Callerton Northumberland late 18-early 19 century... dont want to waste your time...was just hoping a match arose on any of the 1841-1861 census... A bit of a common name here I'm afraid. I am trying to find William, or could have been called James, Ward and his wife Elizabeth on the 1901 census. The lived in Birmingham and had a son Thomas but may have also had a second child. My Grandfather was born in 1905 so I'm guessing Thomas would have been under 5 in 1901. Hope you can find them. Thanks Alison

Pamela, it definitely says Loranah, but could be anything. it could be a name no one knew how to spell, lol or try saying it with an accent for that region, that helps sometimes. now with Marys age i would have said 31, but looks similar to 51 so know why they put that, Jane
