Message received from Dorothy Hello Elaine many thanks for your help, the reason I am a bit vague we think she got married at a young age, on her marriage certificate she has her age as 21ys but I think that is wrong. her father is a Scaffolder, in 1904 they lived at 49 Eden Grove Holloway, the witness on the certificate is a J Sullivfan and a M Sullivan. 1891 census James Higgs (her husband to be) age 8 living 46 Eden Grove. we do believe that they were friends living opposite each other. The Church Of The Latter Day Saints records 1881 census Laurence Sullivan 54yrs & Margret Sullivan 50yrs sons Thomas24yrs John 21yrs 5 Havelock Street Everton Lancs.and I have a another record of John Sullivan married to Sarah Ellen Sullivan with a daughter Ellen Sullivan born June 1889 Christened 22.7.89 St Nicholas Liverpool Lancs. any help much appreciated. Elaine - yes Walworth is in Southwark. And I bet the 'Cross' is New Cross - again, not far from this area, on the way to Lewisham.
