Hi Lesley Please could you look up on the 1861 and 1871 census for me Rosalie Frankland born 1856 (ish). She was born in Liverpool/West Derby and her parents were Henry Frankland (born 1837) and Ann. I've been trying to find a birth record for Rosalie. I know through IGI that she was christened on 1st January 1857 and her middle initial was 'H' - I would love to know what it stands for. So far FreeBMD has brought no luck. Many thanks Mel

Thanks for that! Yes, I think that is John Pennys death. Were the family on the 1851 census at all? If they were, I'm guessing it would be without Ellen and possibly with a previous wife as the eldest child appears to old to be hers. Freya

Hi Lesley Thanks for looking. In 1871 they were in Chicklade , Wilts and by 81 in Upper Knook so it appears that they moved around alot. I have a daughter born in 1847 in Hindon and a year later a son born in Berwick so they could have been in any of these villages Pamela
