hi lorraine.not sure if you can help.....looking for micheal MCcann.born in dublin.about 1868 i think.he married bridgett malloy.born about 1872 she came from county mayo .allbut 1 of there children were born in ireland .they came over to england when the potatoe famin was on...are they on any of your census.. thank you.jean.

Hi Colette, Sorry only one Lamb in the 1901 census.... Jane Lamb 19 lodger B Dublin with Callaghan family at Loftus lane. 1851 census only shows the Head of household..... Peter Lamb at Abby Street upper,St Mary's North of river Liffey. hope they help Lorraine

Hi Frances, Only found one Courtney in the 1901 census.... James Courtney 39 Head B Meath Bricklayers labourer Margaret 43 Wife b Monaghan at George's Place. on the 1851 census which only shows the Head of Family.... James Courtney at Henrietta lane,St Mary's north. or James Courtney at New Row south,St Lukes,South. Hope they help Lorraine

Hi Lorrraine, can you see if theres a James George born about 1850 County Antrim. and a Thomas George born 1876 county Antrim. They are both seamen, outside chance they might be in Dublin. Thank you Teresa

Hi Lorraine and thanks for the offer, i checked some names out on Irish Origins and the names seem to be in the Rotunda Ward..Dublin.. Peter Lamb Catherine Lamb Childrens names Richard Lamb Patricia Lamb James Lamb Helping a lady and this family came to Liverpool c1907 they had 7 children before coming to Liverpool then 4 more after they were from Dublin.. Hi Marie, Could only find this..... 1841 census.... Patrick Doherty 25 Labourer B Ireland Margaret 25 B Ireland Margaret 3 B Surrey Mary 2 B Surrey at Nelson place,Bermondsey,Surrey. Marjory I think may be short for Margaret??????? Hope it helps Lorraine

Thank you Lorraine. Not sure when my men went to Dublin but if you would be so kind to see if either was there in 1901. That would be lovely. Owen Cleary born Carlow b 1871 also his brother Thomas dob unknown but after 1870. I think one was a cobbler and one a tailor. Hope that is enough info. I know they are not at home with parents in 1901. Am signing off now so if you do manage to find them and I don't thank you straightaway I am not being rude. Thankyou Germaine x
