Hi Jean I need to know a little more about Alice and Frederick in order to do a lookup. I need to know where they were born as West Ashford is the Registration District which covers several towns and villages. I have found possibles on both 1891 and 1901 but without place of birth I cannot be sure I am giving you the correct people. Do you have their birth certs? They are both on Freebmd which will give you the references which will enable you to get the birth certs, you will then know parents names and where they were born. Regards Mary

Hello Mary, If you get time I'm looking for Eliza Thompson in 1851. She was born in Bardney, Lincs in ca 1823. In 1852 she was in Notts, North Muskham, if that is any help. I'm also looking for her brother James Thompson, born in the same place. He would be about 30 - 35. Could you also look for Eliza in 1861. She was married then and her husband was William Cooper. They had a daughter Ann age 9, borm in North Muskham. Thanks for your time, Janice.

Hi Deborah There are a great number of William Kennetts in Kent, but I was not able to find one in the Thanet area.Having said that Thanet Civil Reg area covers many towns and villages and without knowing a specific location it will be difficult to find the correct family, also since William was a Mariner he could have been absent from home at the time of the census. I suggest that you get Frederick Frank Kennett's birth cert ,so you can trace the family through William's wife. Both references for the births of Edith and Frederick are on Freebmd. Mary
