Tracey you gave me very good advice last time i asked but the mystery still isn't solved. I'm trying to trace the family of my Nan - Rosemary MAy Care born 4.5.25 in Monmouth. i got her birth certificate to find her parents - they are Charlotte Elizabeth Care (nee wilden) and James Care. I know they were married after 1912 (as charlotte had a fiance that died on theTitanic). I can find no record of their marriage on ancestry, 1837 or IGI, or of them on any census. I think i have possible sisters for Charlotte on 1901 census but they were in service, not their family home so again the trail runs cold. I can't find James anywhere! Can you wave your magic wand and find anything i can't or do you have anymore pearls of wisdom. r egards, Tor

Hi I'm trying to trace my grandparents & ggrandparents. My grandmother was called beatrice Louvian Daniels born in bridgend Wales about 1914-20. My grandfather Leonard Patrick lane was born in kensington 1917 and died during WWII in 1940 (this we know for definate because we looked up on war graves commission) My ggranfather was also called Leonard Patrick Lane who we think was born around 1886(he was married in 1916 aged 32)born where? his father was called Dennis?. My ggrandma was called Elsie Elizabeth Cullen born around 1896(20 when she married) They were married in Kensington. I have e-mailed the church where they were married & they don't have any records!) I've tried looking everyone up in the census's and parish records but to no avail. Can u help? I'm running out of ideas.

Hi Tracy, Thanks for trying to find my William Whitehead's marriage to Madelaine. I don't think the Sydney you found could be him because he always put William Thomas Whitehead , no Sydney. I think I'll have to keep on trawling 1837 online. Many thanks though Chris
