Sorry Sheila, I'll have to put you on hold for a bit. I have to do some ''real'' work.

My goodness Sheila. How on earth did all this happen? lol I'm getting more and more confused by the minute lol So, did Ellen go to Canada with William? Why did she change from Eliza? Was Jessie born there, or here lol I think I'll give up on trying to understand, and just look for Henry in 1891. Having said that, if his children change their names, what's to stop him doing the same lol

I'd be so glad if you could solve my mystery death! John Henson was born in Keyworth Nottingham about 1809, married to Sarah from Wysall Nottingham. Sarah died March 1872, and was a widowon the 1871 census, so I know he died before then. He was alive in 1861, the census described him as a glove framework knitter. I sent for a death cert for a John Henson 1864, but it's the wrong one. I've searched all the indexes, and ancestry, but no luck. I'd be delighted if you could have more success than I have! Thanks Lesley

Moe, I think this is out of my domain. I can't do births, if they're not on FreeBMD, before 1866. There is a Mary Nolan in Jun 1856, but the location of the registration is very difficult to read. I don't know if you've looked at the image, but you can do that on FreeBMD.

Sorry Georgina, I don't think I can do that one. 1920 means possibly up to, but not after.

Jean, I went through all William Marsh's in 1851 to see if I could find a match between that and a Henry in 1861, but failed miserably. The only one that looked promising was this... William Marsh abt 1811 Bakewell, Derbyshire, England Barnsley Yorkshire but I couldn't find him in 1861.
