Hi Pam, Does the page give you the first name or names of the Atack's that you are looking for at all? I will double check it all again later, just off to work now but will be back around 8ish i think. Hunslet is huge so i was hoping it would give an area at all. the page 491 was an introduction to the Holbeck area of Hunslet, would that sound right for the family you are looking for? Claire x

Hi Claire, Sorry for the delay to reply, computer problems, still having blips... Thank you for your reply. I got my information for Attack from The geneaslogist web site, the area was Hunslet. I'm sorry I don't have any more info apart from ref: H17-2317-1...pg 491. Don't worry if you can't find it...they'll turn up somewhere...:) Thanks again Pam

Hi Flick, Sorry to be a pain to ask you for more info. How sure are you of Thomas' father being William? I think i can see the 71 census of Thomas in Bingley, Chapel Lane and the father is George?? Please tell me if i am looking at the wrong image. If you have the 71 details, who is the father and mother and were there any siblings? It just helps as there is no index for Keighley and it goes over two disks. Many thanks Claire x

Claire, Thank you for looking for me, the HEWITT family are proving to be very elusive, there is no trace of them on the 1861 either. Thank you, Jenny x

Hi Pam, I am not having much look with your Atack family at all. I do have the right disk but page 491 is just an introduction to the Holbeck area. Is it definately 491 that you have? Let me know a few more details of the family. Regards Claire x

Hi Jenny, I am really sorry to disapoint but half of the 51 census for Barnsley is destroyed and the areas you wish for your look up is this part. There is only Nether Hoyland, Wombwell and that area that has survived. Regards Claire x

Hi Claire, Would it be possible to do a look up for Barugh or Higham area in Barnsley. I have an image of the 1841 census for my HEWITT family but it does not give an address other than Barugh. I am looking for: Dalamar HEWITT. His first name could be anything from Daley to Dalamey, I have seen all versions. On 1841 census his age is 20. His wife, Elizabeth, age 20 in 1841 Children: Mark age 5 in 1841 Martha age 3 in 1841 Joseph age 1 in 1841 Thomas aged either 9months or 1 month By 1851 there should be at least one other child, Ann HEWITT born abt 1846. Thank you very much in advance. Regards Jenny

Hi Sue, The person that has given you 2353, have they given you the folio number as well? Your Bland family are not still at Feasgate but 2353 is just the disk number. I have gone through what i can see of the rest of St Peter the Little and they dont appear to be in that area in 51. I really need the folio number as well. I do still have your email addy. Claire x
