Do you have information on a Samuel Barr born around 1866 parents James Barr and Sarah Moore. He may have been born in glasgow as he married there. Do you also have information on an Agnes Palmer born in 1917 Glasgow to a Samuel Palmer and Elizabeth McLean - we would like to know the church she was baptised in and if she had any siblings.

DOROTHY LAVALLE Hi Dorothy I had a look on my records for Linus and his parent's, just in case they were there, but sadly they weren't. As my records only really go up to 1854 and a little later. From the marriage cert of Linus, you have his age, his parent's names and maybe where he was born!?! You could ask if anyone on the site could look up his birth cert on Scotland's People for you or you could do it yourself. This might be a good starting point. If possable would you be able to give me the names for both of their parents. Hi Dawn Could you please look up my gran and grandad on my mums side they are Joan Davidson , Hugh Lorimer, my mum was Jemima Lorimer who died April 15th 1964 they came from Cumnock Ayrshire I think my mum was born around 1920. my grandad was a miner in the coal pits. Hi Dawn, Please can you look for children of John Lee and Mary Thompson in Scotland (probably Dumfries) 1790/1810 ? I'm also trying to trace a marriage for George Murray Graham. He was born 1859 and died 1893 both in Dumfries. His death was notified by his widow Margaret. Hi Dawn Many thanks for your very kind offer could you please see if there is a record for Margaret Reed born about 1850 and Sarah Ann Reed born about 1852 in Edinburgh probably in the Canongate their parents were James Reed and Jane Carswell. Although the name is Reed it sometimes gets recorded as Reid. Regards Susan
