Hi Lesley William And Elizabeth HEDLEY (nee COLTON) are from their son James Birth certificate in 1853. But I might risk £7 on Cotton as I can see that it could be mis-read instead of COLTON Many thanks I will let you Know. Regards Linda.

ANGELA I am struggling to find them on 1861 & 1871 But will keep looking.. Here is some other things I found you might not have. Here are the births of the children off 1881 census. LINDA I myself would order the one you found on 1837...Elizabeth Colton in 1849.... Where have you had William Hedley & Elizabeth Colton from? Off another Certificate? As 1837 Is 100% Complete and as far as I know has no errors re:Name spelling I would buy that one first.... But it is your decision..... Good Luck. Hope its your people...Let me know... Lesley :~)

TRUDY Im not sure what you do re:Certificates...I only do the look ups lol. Think you should put a thread up asking how you go about ordering it when you can only find the details on LDS site...I know when you find it on BMD you get the Info needed to put on the form but I dont know what you do if you cant find it with the Numbers Needed.....Sorry I must find out about Certs myself then I can advise people when they ask me in the future lol Lesley :~)

Hi Lesley Marriage c1850 Gainsborough Help please to find a marriage between WILLIAM HEDLEY and ELIZABETH COLTON about 1850 in Gainsborough Lincolnshire. I have found William but with Elizabeth COTTON in March q 1850 on Ancestry and Free bmd Vol 14 pg 383. I have also found Elizabeth Colton marriage on 1837 in June 1849 Vol14 pg 517. I want to get a marriage certificate but not sure how or which to order now. Many Thanks Regards Linda

MARGARET I cant find Evan Evans on 1861 Birth place Cilrhedyn is not on any of the birth Places on the Census and there is too many to narrow down the search....Do you know his Parents names or Siblings maybe I could find him that way... Lesley :~)
