Hi Bev, hope u can help me: Thomas Rigby b.1816 at Up Holland Lancs, then went to live in St Helen's ...maybe peasley cross area, his dad was named James..both were Labourers, i have him when he got married 16/01/1842 to Ellen, but prior to this i am struggling......best wishes Joanie

Hi Beverley I should LOOK before I post! I posted a request for a look up THEN saw your kind offer! JOHN DIXON DAVISON .... It's a puzzle, he doesn't appear on any of my census searches. He was born at Staindrop, Durham C1808. Married Margaret C1828 believed to have then moved to Rudby, Yorkshire.(North Riding). I found Margaret living as a housekeeper with another family on the census's But HE seems to have disappeared until his death in the workhouse1882 (reg:Stokesley). Many Thanks Ann

Hi Bev No, his wife was Harriet Rix born Colchester 1871ish. 3 children, Enid, Dorothy and Frederick. all appear in 1901 census in St Leonards on Sea, but have nothing on Francis J Watts prior to this. Hope you can help! regards Samantha
