When you start a new thread, in the message box type your message. Highlight that text, copy and delete. Now type 'See Below' and post. Then click reply and 'paste'. Your message will appear and you can post your message immediately.

Hi, I have only been on the boards since Friday and have just read and copied the 'Tips for Newbies' so now i know where i was going wrong, thanks everyone for your kind help, i have even found out what 'lol' means, will beable to impress my grandkids with that. June.

no 100 last nudge for me, of this very important thread. I wish everyone starting out on this long journey into the past, the very best of luck. You'll always get loads of invaluable help from the more 'experienced' folks on the boards ........ and then one day you will find yourself helping others. It's a fantastic hobby, but not without it's expense .... and there will be times when you NEED to purchase a certificate or two if you want your FT to be complete and accurate.
