Jane in the Highlands

Jane in the Highlands Report 19 Aug 2005 22:38

Hi Jackie, She should be about 50/51, with Robert about 42, possibly with their younger children Emma, Jane and Charlotte. Robert was a gardener on most other census's I think Laurinia's name was mis-spelt on the 1841 as well, its not a very common one for the ennumerator! Thanks for looking Jane

Hi Jackie If you are still doing look-ups I would really appreciate it if you could look for Robert and Laurinia Farnsworth, who should be around the Longdon, Upper Longdon or Longdon Green area. I'm particularly interested in finding where Laurinia says she was born. Many thanks Jane

Hi Jackie, This one is a long shot. I am now seaching for the parents of children who were born in 1804 so they may not be around in 1851. It is a John and Sarah Wagstaff possibly living Burslem or Norton in the moors. Stoke on trent area. I am not holding my breath on this one so please dont waste alot of your time on it. Many thanks Julie

Hi Jackie, Thanks anyway. Would I be right now in thinking I'd have to visit the Staffordshire Records Office to find birth details of rellies born prior to 1837? And do you know if there were Electrol Rolls then. Otherwise I have no evidence they are my relatives? Thanks
