Lesley Thank you so much for your time and trouble. I feel that at least some of these girls would have married prior to 1837 and as they aren't in the home parish marriage register its a bit of a puzzler. The one you found looks promising - Aston Rowant is one of the places named in the reg.district and it's where the girls' father Robert was born, so if its not his daughter, I am sure it will be a niece or other close relative. Thanks again. nell

Lesley I've been out all evening and only just picked up your private message, to which I can't reply as GR haven't fixed whatever is wrong yet!!! I wanted a Pallots marriage check for these girls: 1. Maria <Chouns> - International Genealogical Index Gender: Female Christening: 06 MAY 1804 Farnham Royal, Buckingham, England 2. Mary Anne <Chouns> - International Genealogical Index Gender: Female Christening: 18 DEC 1808 Farnham Royal, Buckingham, England 3. Susan <Chouns> - International Genealogical Index Gender: Female Christening: 06 MAR 1814 Farnham Royal, Buckingham, England 4. Betsy <Chowns> - International Genealogical Index Gender: Female Christening: 17 NOV 1822 Farnham Royal, Buckingham, England I know the family were in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire later on, and that another sister, Sophia, married there in 1833. Yet another sister, my great-great grandmother, married in Kennington, Surrey in 1858. But I have not found marriages for the other girls and I hoped maybe one of them would be in Pallots. Cheers Nell
