Find Ancestors

Six months ago I did a blanket search for my family of sturge on bmd and came across a marriage for a William Henry sturge in 1859, Pontypool. The problem I have is that I cannot connect him to my tree. Can anyone find him on the censuses and solve this mystery for me. Julie

Looked at 1861, can't find any sturge's resident Monouthshire at all

Possibly this one in 1851. It is the right birth place and the right age even though the name is mangled. He may have got Elizabeth Exell pregnant as she is described as "daughter in law". She is 14 and he is 13.
