Elaine - is your kind offer still available please? Do you cover Manchester? If so, could you check if the Lindon family were still in Ashcroft Street please. This was their address (no house number) on their daughter's birth cert of Sept. 1858 so hopefully they might have still been there. Household consisted of at least: PATRICK FRANCIS LINDON HEAD c.32 yrs. BLACKSMITH?, CATHERINE LINDON WIFE c.31 yrs, MARY LINDON DAUGHTER 2 yrs. But there might be some older children I haven't discovered yet. Would be ever so grateful if you could help please.

Hi Elaine, wondering if you could have a look for a Ralph Dickinson born c1802 Anderton (widower by 1851), possibly with a sons Henry c1835, and Ralph 1842. Address 1851 Stott Hillock, Bolton. Also Ralph & Mary Sidebottom, with daughter Eliza, possibly Dukinfield area of Cheshire. Thanks Jenny Dickinson

Hi Elaine, I am looking for Joseph Jones, aged about 20, and Ann Stott, about 16, in Oldham. In 1841 he lived in Hollinwood, she was born in Shaw and in 1866 they were married in Hollinwood, so perhaps she had moved there. My difficulty has been the common names and I am not entirely sure I have been tracing the correct family. I know there were two Joseph Jones born similar time and place. I would be grateful for any help you can offer. Thanks, Valerie

Hi Elaine Sorry to bother you again but do you have the 1851 lancs census ?? The 1861 Census is definately my Wilkinson's. In 1851 William would be 16 ish. Gives his birthplace as Pennington on most other census I have. Any chance of finding him possibly living at Dalton. Possible father Henry Wilkinson. I know its a bit vague. But this line has been rather hard to find. I look forward to hearing from you Maureen
