Hi Sally Thanks for the offer. I am looking for any information you can give me about the KERSHAW family. In 1881 the family were living in Wellington Street, Alvethorpe cum Thomas, York. Head of the household was Robert age 21. However I assume he was the son of Annie Lenanton (or Leananton) previously Kershaw age 42. Other children in the house were John Kershaw age 16, Agnes Kershaw age 12, Sarah Kershaw age 10, Mabel Lenanton age 8 and Margaret Lenanton age 6. I would be grateful if you could find anything for them in 1871, particularly about Annie's first husband. Regards Cheryl

Hi Sally, I wonder if you could look in the 1851 census for Thomas GOULD,b 1780,Dorset, with wife Ann and sons Edward,b 1846 and Frederick b 1848 ,bapt Marlylebone Parish (last sighting of the family). Thomas died 1856 and was buried All Saints cemetery Kensall Green, so the 1851 census is my last opportunity to find out where he lost himself. I am guessing the family was living in London in 1851. I understand this census is only a sample, and is a long shot, but I would be grateful if you could look. TIA, Beverley from Perth Western Australia [email protected]

Hi I am looking for a Malina (not sure of the correct spelling) Symons born in 1877 in Torqauy. She was living at 6 Myrtle Row, Tormoham with her parents on the 1881 census, but is not with them on the 1891 census. I do know that she ran a guest house with her sister Emily, and that neither of them married. Please could you look for her on the 1891 and 1901 census for me. Kind regards Nikki
