Hi, thanks for the offer of a 1891 look up. i am looking into the Turner family. On the 1881 Census they lived at 203/204 Great Lister street Aston Warwick. Head of the family was Edward Turner , in 1891 he would be 52, wife Sarah aged 45. Several children , leonard aged 12, Maragret aged 15 , Clara aged 18. There were elder children , who by now may have left home. Edward was a fruiterer. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks

A very belated thanks for looking up Edwin Sheard. The weather has been so glorious over the weekend (Aberdeen was the hottest place in the country, which almost never happens) that I've not been inside long enough to turn the computer on. Your results are very interesting. Either the marriage date I have for Edwin and Fanny is wrong, or this is a second marriage. Also, although I knew about Herbert, the other children are all new - they are not with the family in 1901 - I'll have to do some more hunting. Thanks again -- hope you get the time to enjoy the sunshine as well. Ann

Hi Tracey, I wonder if you could look at the 1891 for me please. I am looking for the occupations of 2 males. James Henry Freed born abt 1867 and Walter William Freed born abt 1870. There father was an inspector on S.E.R on 1881 and somebody is doing a site for rialway workers on S.E.R. and I wondered if they followed in their fathers footsteps. They lived at Tonbridge Kent on 1881. Thanks Gloria

Hello Tracey, Would you mind looking up James Richard & Bridget JOHNSTON on the 1891 London census please? They were married in St Pancras in 1889 and still living in the area in 1903 when my grandfather was born. I searched the address he was born in on the 1901 census, but to no avail. I have ordered their marriage certificate today, but at the moment, I don't know how old they were. Thanks a lot, Carole
