Vanessa Nothing came up for a birth of Thomas Francis Croke. However I found this marriage for a Patrick Croke CROKE, Patrick Age: 30 Marriage Wife: Mary HABERLIN Age: 27 Marriage Date: 24 Nov 1862 Recorded in: Waterford, Waterford, Ireland Collection: Civil Registration Husband's Father: Thomas CROKE Wife's Father: Richard HABERLIN Source: FHL Film 101441 Dates: 1862 – 1862 I found this Patrick on the 1881 census but no Thomas Dwelling: 4 Richmond St Census Place: Manchester, Lancashire, England Source: FHL Film 1341950 PRO Ref RG11 Piece 3979 Folio 84 Page 10 Marr Age Sex Birthplace Patrick CROKE M 33 M Ireland Rel: Head Occ: Master Cooper Employ 2 Men Mary CROKE M 32 F Ireland Rel: Wife Catherine M. CROKE 3 F Manchester, Lancashire, England Rel: Daur Margreat M. CROKE 2 F Manchester, Lancashire, England Rel: Daur William P. CROKE 1 M Manchester, Lancashire, England Rel: Son William CROKE U 19 M Ireland Rel: Brother Occ: Cooper There were two Thomas Croke's on the 1891 census - 1 aged 27 born Manchester, a Stoker in Royal Navy married to Eliza J Croke aged 25 with Son William 3 months living in 81, Cambridge St, St Andrews, Devon. The other was onboard HMS Defieance as a Stoker aged 28 born Manchester Married (it could be the same one of course listed twice!!) In 1901 Eliza J and Thomas with other kids living in Tolland Hants Reg Dist Isle of Wight. Also on the Free BMD site was this marraige Marriages Dec 1891 Croke Thomas Francis Plymouth 5b 567 The images for the 1891 and 1901 census are saved for you if you send me a direct e-mail . Barbara All I could find was a Death in 1882 which might be him - see what you think Deaths Mar 1882 Wilson Frederick Arthur 2 Newark 7b 263 I looked the district of Newark up:- Newark Created 1st July 1837. Mainly in Nottinghamshire, but included parts of Lincolnshire. Sub-districts : Bassingham; Bennington; Claypole; Newark; North Collingham. GRO volumes : XV (1837-51); 7b (1852-1930). Alverton, Balderton, Barnby in the WIllows, Besthorpe, Broadholme, Coddington, Cotham, Farndon, Flawford, Girton, Harby, Hawton, Kilvington, Langford, Meering (from 1861), Newark upon Trent, North Clifton, North Collingham, South Clifton, South Collingham, South Scarle, Spalford, Staunton, Thornley, West Newark, Wigsley, Windthorpe Cheers Michelle

Tracy There was no Birth on BIVRI and the only marriage that came up was BURGESS, Byron Age: 20 Marriage Wife: Mary Ann MILES Age: 22 Marriage Date: 23 Sep 1878 Recorded in: Westminster, London, England Collection: Soho, St Anne Husband's Father: William BURGESS Wife's Father: John MILES Source: FHL Film 1468920 Dates: 1876 – 1879 There were two Byron Burgesses living in Wembley on the 1901 Father and Son aged 42 and 22 both French Polishers. I have saved the image if you want to look -( send a direct e-mail) The marriage of Byron William C Burgess shows tow females on the same page a Rebecca Daw and Rose Akers. Rebecca The only marriage I could find on BIVRI was this one GOODMAN, James Marriage Wife: Susan PLUMMER Marriage Date: 9 Dec 1830 Recorded in: Ashfield Magna, Suffolk, England Collection: BTs Source: FHL Film 989586 Dates: 1687 – 1837 Unfortunately the index is not listed by Town only names otherwise I'd have a go at looking through Flamstead!! Hi Michelle, I'm looking for a 1891 and 1901 census lookups for Silas Riddle, wife Ann or Annie and his family. In 1891 he was in Bedhampton in Hants and in 1901 he was in Portsmouth. He was born in West Hoathly Sussex around 1836. Many thanks, Crista
