Sally, Thank-you very much for the information. I'm now confused because on Frank's and Mary's Ann's marriage certificate his father is named as Edward, not Charles! I don't suppose there is an Edward Stowell in his 50's is there?

Hi Sally thanks for the work you put in for Robert Pullen. No I dont think he is the one I am looking for. How accurate are the birth, marriage certificates, I am looking for a Robert who married in 1911, at Haywards Heath Cuckfield. His marriage certificate says he is 27 years old. Which would mean that he was born 1882/3. [does'nt say where born] there are only 2 Roberts born at that time, one at Hull the other at Fareham, but neither are correct. So I have found a Robert Pullen, who's father was John Pullen, who was born Brighton Sussex 1888. All that fits but not the date of birth. Could there be a mistake on the dates? or some one lying about age? Thanks. Keith Pullen.

Sally, Could you look for Eliza Snelling aged 76 born St. Lukes. Believe she lived in the Limehouse area at time of census. She was a widow. Is there anyone else in her household? Many thanks. Jean.

Sally Yes, it is the Harvey I'm looking for. Thanks for your time and trouble but could I ask for another look up for his daughter which seems to be missing from the household. I have looked myself on the free 1901 site but I'm not sure if it's her unless I know the address where she is living. The details are Lilian Finch age 6 born London Newington census place St George the Martyr. Thanking you once again for your time and trouble. All the best Sandra

Sally, Thanks for asking for further details. My Frank Stowell would have been born around 1866 as he was somewhere between 33 and 35 in 1901. Helen
