Although I know that Chas, John, George and James were living in the same household, I am wondering about the mother Alice and nephew William. If it's not too much of a pain could you give me the household(s) of these last two? With many thanks.

Russell

Russell Report 27 Mar 2004 12:38

Thanks Tracy. It could be either of the John Putts born at Marlborough. Would you be able to look at both. Thanks, Russell

Thank you very much, Tracy. Shame about Grant, but those other Sheppards are very useful indeed. In fact this could start a new line of enquiry! Many thanks.

Deb - The Leg Bones Connected To The.. Report 26 Mar 2004 14:23

So does it have the William and Susan Thawley we were discussing the other day on? (William was born in 1813, poss at Shelton, Stafford?). They had at least one son called George (B. 1836 in Wilnecote, Tamworth, listed as Warwickshire in 1881 census, who later became a brick maker). Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Deborah
