Hi Michelle LIsa again, You sent me a wonderful image of my Wilson family, and wondered if you could help me again. Could you look up William Henry Culver/Calver for me on the 1891 census? He was born 1841 ish Walkern Herts. I don't really know where he was living, could have been London or Essex area, or Hertfordshire, or even Hampshire, I just don't know, I'm hoping you can look up on the name. Thanks so much Lisa

Hi Michelle, The ages are for 1891. Might have to get Max to do an address search if you can't find them. I'm still struggling with me Pikes ! I've found some really interesting stuff in the IGI and I'm pretty sure it's my GGG grandfather and his ancestors. If it is, I've traced the Pikes back to 1780ish and the female line (Willder) back even further. To prove I've got the right people I need to find Alfred Pike's marriage cert from about 1840, but I just can't ! How are you doing with yours ? I'm convinced we'll find a common ancestor one day. Both lots are from East London, even if mine are North and yours are South ! Thanks for the lookup, Rick.

Michelle, Thanks so much for this, yes that is the family, although I don't have an image for that 1871 census reading, would it be possible for you to send it to me if I send you an e-mail??? Bertha didn't have a middle name, it's a mystery!!!!! Thanks again, Lisa

Michelle

Michelle Report 20 Mar 2004 21:02

Lisa Nothin coming up on 1891, did she have a middle name at all? I have found a Bertha Wilson on the 1871 living in Hackney born in Islington and living with her parents Alfred and Mary Wilson, plus brothers Alfred and William, and sisters Julia, Emma, Adelaide, Mary ann and Martha. Michelle
