Hi Helen If this was a census number it would start H107 (thats for 1851) then there would be a 4 digit number called a piece number (that is the area) then the folio number is next either 1 2 or 3 numbers. If the number you have is the folio number for a census then you should have the bits before. If you have them I can then look for you. I do hope I have explained what I mean. I'm not very good at that, sorry. Lynda

I agree with you Linda...this doesn't look like my man...the address was where he was in 1841 census..I am getting another death certificate at the end of this week..for 1853...will see what the address is on there...perhaps they had moved by then... Many thanks for looking Regards Martin

Hello Lynda, can you help me with some info on a family please. I'm after a family called Anderson. I have folio numbers of 781 and 782 from Sarah Arkell. The head is George Anderson, aged 52 on folio 781. There are 11 more Andersons on folio 781, and 2 John and Alfred on 782. A possible address is George St, Millwall. This is from a christening record of 1850, so may be wrong. Thanks Helen

Hi Does your census include Marylebone? I'm looking for William CANE and his daughter Phoebe CANE. Her marriage cert in 1856 says she was of full age and lived in Trinity District. Father William was 'in the army'. Thanks if you can help and thanks if you can't! xx A

Hi Lynda Sorry to ask for your help again but I'm soo stuck on this lot and can't find any suitable matches on 1837. When you've time could you please have a look on the 1851 partial index for Charles Carr aged about 6 born Clerkenwell or Pancras, Harriet Carr or Strachan aged about 18 born Pancras and Ann Strachan aged 1-5 born Pancras or St Lukes. I should think that they're all in St Pancras if you need a district. Thank you:) David
