Hi Lynda, Please could you have a look for 2, Blacklanes Street, Chelsea. I'm looking for John Jobbins, a shoemaker, wife Jane and baby daughter Ann. They were there in Mat 1850, so wuite hopeful on this one. Thanks, Rick.

Hi Lynda I am still looking for my Vickery family. I have been giving the following references which should locate VICKERYS living in MARYLEBONE. 1851 census index(voluntary ref look-up) which are All Souls, Marylebone HO107/1486 page 417v Cavendish Square HO107/1487 pages 40v and 41r I'm not sure if this is enough information for you. Ive tried other addresses to no avail. I think 1486 & 1487 are folios, I would be grateful for any help you can give me. Many thanks! Sally I would be most grateful if you could look into

Hi Lynda Is there a name index for the 1851 census yet? If so could you please see if these people are on it: Catherine Harman age abt 47 born Clerkenwell Jane Ann Harman age abt 16 Emma Harman age abt 5 born Lambeth probably in the Lambeth Southwark area Edward P Edwards age abt 17 born Southwark Sarah jane Rapson age abt 16 born Lambeth again Lambeth Southwark area. Hi Lynda , can you do a look-up for me of 16 Stanhope Street , St. Clement Danes , Strand . I am hoping that either the surname Francomb or Davis turn up . You managed to find James and Sarah Francomb here in 1861 census but I'm not sure if they were even married in 1851 . Ages would be around 25 for James and 19 for Sarah . Thanks Hilary

Hi Linda, Somebody has given me this ref for my Riggs. Can you help with a look up from this info. Benjamin Riggs 36 b. Shoreditch Harriet Riggs 26 " Bethnal Green sub district Hackney Rd., H0107/1539 folio 418. From this there are several roads it could be. Ravenscroft St. Bath St, Barn(r)et St., James St or Providence Place. If it's no good from this info thanks anyway. Cheers Diane

Hello Lynda Thanks for looking. Unfortunately I don't know the names of his parents. He shows up in the LDS 1881 census, married and it gives his birth "St Martins Middlesex". However, I think he lived in the Poplar area. Thanks for trying. Lesley

Lynda, I hope you can help, I am looking for Robert William Hasted Born in Royal Oak Lane Brentford in 1839 His parents were William Hasted and Jane Steer he had a Brother James Enos Hasted and a Sister Emily Elizabeth Hasted. If they are on the 1851 census it may give the birth place of William and Jane, or am I hoping for too much. (I believe they moved to Lambeth or Clapham in 1859) If you get a moment I would really apreciate a look up. Kind regards Maurice

Hi Lynda, Would be grateful for the 1871 details. Sorry for the wild goose chase re Wick Street - having dug it out, Richard & Eleanor's marriage certificate from 1849 states Wick Street, Hackney. Thanks again, Nigel
