	The records do cover that area before 1914. Farnham is close to the Hampshire boarder. Perhaps they married in Hampshire where the wife was from? Rose

	Hi Rose, Yes that would be too late, my ancestor was born in 1725, and I have found siblings going back to 1714, so I would hope that it is before then, and probably in Farnham. Unfortunately, there is no mother's name on the children's christening records, so I do not know who John married, but the first child I have found was called Mary, so maybe his wife could be a Mary? The second child was called John, so that would follow. What do you think? Do you have any Farnham records that would cover the period before 1714? Thanks again for trying, Susan
